Transparent areas become white. Animated images use the first frame. TIFF pages have individual downloads and a ZIP. JPG re-encoding is lossy; embedded metadata is removed.
Up to 80 MB per input, 40 megapixels and 10,000 pixels per side for each image. TIFF: up to 50 pages, 120 megapixels combined. Outputs may total up to 128 MB. Files beyond these limits are rejected, not resized. SVG, PSD and camera RAW are not supported. Some codec variants may not decode in your browser.
If a size limit cannot be met, the actual file size is shown and original dimensions are preserved.
How do I convert an image to JPG?
Choose a supported image and select Convert to JPG. Leave the size field empty to keep high quality and original pixel dimensions. Download the result after conversion finishes. No account, watermark or upload is required.
The converter accepts JPEG, PNG, WebP, HEIC, HEIF, AVIF, BMP, GIF and TIFF. HEIC and TIFF decoders load only when needed. Other formats depend on the image support available in your browser; uncommon codec variants may still fail to decode.

- Download your JPGEach finished result shows its dimensions and actual size. Download TIFF pages separately or use Download all as ZIP to save the complete set.
What changes when converting to JPG?
JPG is a lossy format for still images. The converter re-encodes the picture, keeps its orientation and full frame, and removes embedded metadata. It does not sharpen missing detail or apply document-scanning filters.
Transparent areas become white because JPG cannot preserve transparency. Animated GIF, WebP or AVIF images become a static first frame; the animation is not included. Choose a format that supports transparency or animation if you need to retain those properties.
Large images and TIFF documents
Inputs can be up to 80 MB. Each decoded image can contain up to 40 megapixels with no side above 10,000 pixels. TIFF files can contain up to 50 pages and 120 megapixels combined. The total converted output is limited to 128 MB.
Images beyond these limits are rejected with a message rather than silently resized or truncated. Very large files can still exceed the memory available in your browser. Try a smaller source if your device cannot finish decoding it.
SVG, PSD and camera RAW files are not supported. This is a common-image converter, not a promise to decode every image format. For a JPEG extension requirement, the dedicated JPEG to JPG page provides the same conversion workflow.
Frequently asked questions
Does this convert PNG and HEIC to JPG?
Yes. PNG, HEIC and the other listed raster formats use the same local conversion workflow. Supported codec variants and available browser memory determine whether a particular file can be decoded.
Will the output keep the original dimensions?
Yes, within the displayed processing limits. The default does not shrink the image. An optional KB limit adjusts JPEG quality only and reports when the target cannot be met.
Can I download all TIFF pages?
Supported multipage TIFF files produce individual JPG downloads and a ZIP containing every converted page. Files above the stated page or memory limits are rejected.
Are my pictures uploaded?
No. Decoding, conversion and ZIP creation run in your browser. Images and filenames are not sent to LensUp.
