💡 Remove shadows, even out the lighting
A photo of a page often has a shadow gradient across it. LensUp estimates the lighting and divides it out, so the paper turns clean white and the text stays crisp — turning a snapshot into a real-looking scan.

FAQ
Why does my scanned photo have a grey shadow?
Room lighting falls unevenly across the page. De-shadow estimates that gradient and removes it, whitening the background.
Will it wash out the text?
No — it flattens the background lighting while keeping dark text; it is a selectable effect you can compare against the original.
Does it work in colour?
Yes — it corrects lighting per channel, keeping coloured ink and stamps.
