Pricing
The LensUp tools that run in your browser are free. LensUp Pro is an optional membership for people who handle documents often: an encrypted vault, secure sending, monthly Pro recognition and a privacy mode without ads. This page lists every price before you create an account.
LensUp Pro is not on sale yet. It goes on sale once it is ready and our payment service is live. Until then nothing can be bought on LensUp, no card details are asked for, and the free tools work exactly as they do today.
Free: the browser tools
Every tool that runs in your browser is free for personal and commercial use: turning photos into a scanned PDF, compressing a PDF or an image to a target size, ID card copies and passport photos, straightening a page and evening out its lighting, merging, splitting and editing PDFs, and converting images, PDFs, Word files and e-books to Markdown on your device. They need no account, add no watermark and do not upload your files — you can check that yourself. Advertising pays for them. Every tool is listed on the home page.

Prices are in US dollars. Both plans include the same things. A membership renews automatically until you cancel it; you can cancel at any time and keep it until the end of the period you paid for.
What LensUp Pro includes
- An encrypted vault, 1 GB. Files are encrypted in your browser before they are uploaded, their names included, so we cannot read them. It takes PDF, JPG, PNG, HEIC, WebP and DOCX files up to 50 MB each, and lets you open your scans on another device without emailing them to yourself.
- Secure sending. Send a document to a landlord, an employer or an agency as a watermarked copy that says what it is for. Each link expires (after 7 days unless you choose otherwise, at most 30), can be revoked at any time, shows you when it was opened, and can ask the recipient to confirm their email address first.
- 100 Pro pages a month. Pro recognition for the formulas and tables the on-device tools cannot read, in Image to Markdown and PDF to Markdown. Pages you do not use in a month do not carry over.
- Privacy mode. A mode members can turn on in which LensUp pages load no advertising, analytics or other third-party scripts.
Good to know
- Account. LensUp Pro needs a LensUp account, signed in with a link sent to your email address. The free tools never ask you to sign in.
- When a membership ends. The vault becomes read-only: you can open and download your files for 60 days. We email you 7 days before they are deleted, and then they are deleted.
- Nobody else holds your keys. Because the vault is end-to-end encrypted, we cannot open it or recover it for you. If you lose your vault passphrase, your recovery code and every trusted device, the files cannot be opened again.
- Refunds and billing rules. Your first membership payment is refunded in full if you ask within 7 days. The full rules are in the Terms of Use. Before LensUp Pro goes on sale, the Privacy Policy will add what the vault and secure sending store and send.
